Buying Your Coffee Subscription
From the Home page of the app, the customer can go into the Shop section to find a subscription plan of choice and click “BUY” to purchase. After confirming the price (monthly auto-renewal price is also informed about), the purchase is completed and the user is led to the Scan section to use the subscription plan.
The following images show how a subscriber uses her/his subscription in-store by clicking the “Scan to register” button on the plan, opening up the camera on the phone enabled by the app, and scanning a unique barcode on the coffee island to get a receipt for pick-up of the daily coffee. The receipt can be found under More – My page – Receipts.
The scan also ensures that settlement can be done from your central merchant account and allocated accurately to the correct store where the subscription plan is being used. Alternatively, the redemption process in-store can require a scan at POS (or self-checkout) where a unique barcode enables a daily payment on the point of sale system. The code can be used once per day (or twice per day if your subscription is two coffees per day).
Our platform can also trigger follow-up messages like a game to play, or a coupon on a food offer for the next visit and a larger basket spend.
This is a clever way to “skip the line convenience style” and ensures a fast and frictionless coffee pick-up for your busy coffee-loving customers.
