Liquid Barcodes becomes Verifone’s certified loyalty partner, enabling seamless integration with Verifone’s POS terminals

This expanded partnership will enhance the Liquid Barcodes relationship with Verifone, including Verifone’s approval to use their point-of-sale (POS) terminals with all of Liquid Barcodes’ many loyalty, subscription, and payment programs. Verifone’s POS solutions are used by over half of the 150,000-plus U.S. convenience stores and fuel retailers.

Verifone Certified Loyalty Partner Integrated Features

  • Subscription Support: Integrate subscription services for any categories such as food and beverage
  • Points and Stamps Accumulation: Enable users to earn points and stamps, which can be redeemed in-app or used for upgrading tiers, based on the loyalty program selected
  • Diverse Offer Validations: Validate a range of offer types from the Liquid Barcodes system, including basket discounts, fixed prices, percentage discounts, and game rewards
  • User Identification: Identify users at the POS and dispenser using their phone number or a scannable barcode at the POS
  • Fuel-Triggered Coupons: Provide users with coupons based on fueling amounts, such as receiving a free coffee for fueling more than 20 gallons
  • Loyalty Coexistence: Synchronize with other loyalty programs in the same transaction
  • Local Discount Coexistence: Synchronize with other local discounts from the POS in the same transaction

Additionally, in September 2022, the revolutionary Liquid Barcodes app-based C-StorePay program achieved certification with Verifone to integrate with Verifone’s cloud-based point of sale (POS) and site management software solutions to take advantage of a fully integrated solution for mobile payments with connection to their fuel POS systems allowing consumers to pay for fuel via the app.

With the Verifone mobile payment processing application (MPPA) certification, Liquid Barcodes merchants can leverage Verifone’s robust global e-commerce payment platform within the app, allowing seamless and secure omnichannel sales experiences for both merchants and consumers.

Verifone MPPA Certification Features

  • Allow direct connection with the Verifone pump controller
  • Enable release of the pump nozzle from the customer’s app, allowing for a frictionless fueling process
  • Display a member price rollback visible on the fuel pump to demonstrate savings
  • Generate a receipt on the customer’s app and/or print at the pump
  • Provide customers with customized, convenient, quick, and secure transactions
