Advanced POS integrations implemented with “one-tap-to-benefits” are the most customer friendly way to meet your customers in store.
“One-tap-to-benefits” means using multiple coupons and receiving loyalty card stamps through one identification. Upon identification, we will send the POS the full list of discount conditions for coupons, stamp/prepaid cards and rewards that this customer has.
Identification can happen with different methods:
CREATE YOUR OWN PAYMENT METHOD
Use our white label payment system to create your own payment method. Customers pay and receive benefits in one operation.
Customers register their payment methods, eg. payment card or mobile payment, to identify themselves on purchase, thereby receiving benefits and paying in one step.
Identify via payment makes it easier for your loyal customers to earn rewards. It is fast at the till. And the retailer will also capture your customers´ transactions.
For card payment, the simplest way to link a payment card and a mobile number is at the moment the card is inserted in the payment terminal. Future-proof payment terminal providers can prompt the customer to input her mobile number if the card has not already been linked to a member. If the card is already linked no such prompt happens, but the transaction is captured for this known customer.
Future proof mobile payment solutions can typically send the retailer’s own member ID to the POS as part of the transaction. Customers link the retailers app with the mobile payment app. The POS receives the member ID and initiates request to Liquid Barcodes.
CONTACTLESS (EG. NFC OR BEACONS)
The customer’s app identifies itself to NFC or Beacon senders in store. The ID is sent to the POS which initiates request to Liquid Barcodes.
A physical or digital member card with an ID that is scanned or punched on the POS.
There are multiple ways for the POS to handle the list of benefits it receives:
SHOW OFFERS ON POS
The list of coupons can be displayed on POS after identification.
On traditional employee-facing POS, the employee is presented with the customer´s available coupons and rewards. This gives a personalized conversation where the employee and customer selects which coupons to use through dialogue.
On self servcie POS, the customer choose himself which coupons to use or save.
CUSTOMERS MUST SELECT COUPONS BEFORE THE TRANSACTION
The customer selects which coupons should be used in the next transaction. If conflicting coupons have been approved, ie. multiple coupons exist for the same product, a fall back solution for the POS can be to give the best deal possible for the customer.
THE POS ALWAYS GIVES THE BEST DEAL POSSIBLE
The simply uses the coupons that give the customer the best deal. Everything happens automatically, however customer looses control over when coupons are used.
